My impression of the book Coming Of Age

I find the book very good because it shows the real life of young people.The students of the book are in the same situation like us!They are also in the last class and they have normal problems! They fight with the family, are good ar bad in the school , they are in love....The book shows our life... Also was it easy to read.

Part 5

In chapter 40 is the Graduation day!Ruthie adress an audience and at the evening Aj and Ruthie go to the party of Christian. In chapter 41 Kelli tells Erika that she is pregnant.They talk about their future and they superior to leave the city. In chapter 42 Aj and his friends sit in his room and talks about the old stories.When they go Franco talks with Aj at the end of the chapter Ruthie come to Aj. In chapter 43 the most of the students are at Michella`s party.Erika talks with Aj and Aj and Ruthie leave early because Aj goes on the next day to Florida. In chapter 44 Aj and Ruthie go to the cemetery. In chapter 45 Aj go to Florida and Ruthie is unhappy at the end of the book Ruthie mets Erika into a store.

Part 4

In chapter 29 Erika and her girls want to kill Ruthie!They fight with her but then Aj comes and Ruthie disappears.Erika and Aj talks and they broke up. In chapter 30 is Ruthie in the bathroom of the school.Andrea and Christian come to look after her! In chapter 31 Erika cries and her mother talks with her!At the end she calls her father and asks him if she can come to him for a few of days. In chapter 32 Monica , Kevin, Doug and Kelli went to prom!they see Ruthie and the girls talk about Ruthie!But the boys say that she is ok. In chapter 33 Erika goes to her father and stays their some days. In chapter 34 Aj and Ruthie go to a game of Anthony and then they go for dinner with Ruthies parents. In chapter 35 Erika and Ruthie fight!!!Ruthie wins at the end! In chapter 36 Erika cries and thinks about what Ruthie says. In chapter 37 Shanice is happy that Ruthie shows Erika that she is not the number one. In chapter 38 Imani and the girls goes to Erika!They still want to kill Ruthie but Erika doesn`t want! In chapter 39 Erika went to Franco because she is so alone and unhappy.

In chapter 22 Erika talks with Ruthie because she wants that Ruthie doesn`t do something with Aj.Later Ruthie goes with Anthony to a match of Aj!She talks with his friends. In chapter 23 Aj comes from Florida and goes to Ruthie!She and her parents want that Anthony stay at the their home!Aj agrees with this offer. In chapter 24 the musical starts.At the premiere Shanice sings!At the second day Erika sings!After the show she gets flowers from Aj!Aj ans Ruthie goes after the show to Erika but she doesn`t want that Aj mets Ruthie. In chapter 25 Ruthie makes her homework when Aj comes to her!They talk and then Aj kiss Ruthie. In chapter 26 Ruthie comes to school and she talks with Andrea and Ruthie cries because she doesn`t know what she can do with Aj!At the end of the chapter Ruthie and Aj met and Aj says that she broks up with Erika. In chapter 27 Ruthie and Aj go to Aj`s home.They talk about their friendship. In chapter 28 Erika adepts that Ruthie and Aj are a couple. In chapter 28 Erika waits for Aj but he doesn`t come.

Chapter 21

In chapter 21 Erika sees Aj and Ruthie at monday morning together.She goes between Ruthie and Aj and she wants to talk with him!She asks what is with Ruthie!And he says to her that they are only freinds but she doesn`t believe.

Chapter 20

In chapter 20 Aj and Anthony go to Ruthie again for dinner because Ruthie and Aj want to learn for chemistry.Aj is angry because he goes one week away and he doesn``t know where he can leave Anthony!So Ruthie talks with her parents and Anthony can stay for this one week by Ruthie`s family.

Chapter 19

In chapter 19 Aj is visit the gray stone from his mother!When Ruthie comes they talk about his mother and then they go to Ruthie for the dinner!They talk about his dead and why his mother has doing that!At the end of the chapter Anthony and Aj are talking about Ruthie and her family!

In chapter 18 Andrea , Christian and Ruthie talk about the sympathy of Christian and Ruthie!After this Ruthie drives to Anthony to takes him to the library!He asks her if she sees Aj!

Chapter 17

In chapter 17 Ruthie and Aj talk about their lifes.For example if Ruthie wants to be white.After this Aj looks how his brother is playing with the other kids.He notes that they play MG`s!So Aj is angry and at the end of the chapter he fight with Franco and Aj only thinks on his mother!

Chapter 16

In chapter 16 Anthony and Ruthie talk about Aj and his family!Anthony tells Ruthie that his mother is dead because she kills herself!At the next day in chemistry Ruthie and Aj fight and so Ruthie tells him that she know what happens to his mother.

Chapter 15

Aj comes home at monday and he sees a blue Ford Escort park in front of his house.When he comes in he sees Anthony and Ruthie reading!But he doesn`t want that Ruthie helps his brother!At the end of the chapter Ruthie gets to know Franco the older brother of Aj.

Part 2,chapter 14

Erika goes to choir monday morning and she sees that she is the lead of the musical Porgy And Bess.But Shanice, a black girl has the lead too!So Erika is realy angry.During they warm up Erika watchs at Shanice because she wants the lead at the musical.

In chapter thirteen Mr. Ferris is calling Ruthie because she is one finalist of the National Achievement Scholarship for Outstanding Negro Students competition.
She is very happy and she calls her parents and they are proud of her.
After this she goes to Carver Elementary school to help the children.
She takes the little brother of Aj, Anthony!She wants to help him because he has a problem with reading!

Part 2

In chapter 12 Aj signs his letter of intent with Florida State Uterniversity!
After this he makes party with his friends!When they are in Aj`s room they are sad because everyone goes to an other University!At the end of the chapter Erika comes to Aj`s room.

Part 2

In chapter eleven Ronell feels stupid because everybody look at him!
So he goes to the park and mets Franko!
One of his freinds is smoking a joint and so he also smokes one!

Part 2

In chapter ten we learn that everybody want to know where Aj goes to University.
But he doesn`t know and so he asks Ruthie in the chemistry class!
She wants to know what he wants to do when he doesn`t get a profi.
But Aj wants to talk about it and so he leavs her!
At the end of the chapter Ronell comes and bothers him!

Chapter 5-9

In chapter five we meet all the fellas: Doug, Kevin, Wakeen, Jamil, Ray and Aj!
They talk about what they do toninght!After this Aj goes home and we get to know his two brothers Franco and Anthony!
Franco is his older brother and he deals with drugs.At the evening he goes to bills party and he meets all his friends!Erika is also there and she flirts with one of the MG`s(it`s a gang).
She wants to make Aj jealously.So Aj flirts with Trina she is one of the with chicks!


In chapter six Ruthie and his friends Andrea and Christian talk about girlfriends and boyfreinds.After this she goes home and she talks with her mum that she doesn`t want to go to churchbecause she finds that the people don`t do somthing for her family!


In chapter seven we learn that Erika mets God three years ago!She sings in the choir.This morning is she very nervous because Aj wants to come!But he doesn`t come.


In chapter eight Erika talks to Aj and she wants to know if he loves her!But Aj doesn`t say it to her!After this in the chemistry class he askes Ruthie if she knows was love is!Ruthie hasn`t a real answer!She thinks that you feel when you are in love!After this Aj wants the documents of the class but Ruthie doesn`t give him the documents!So they make an appointment!


In chapter nine we learn that Ruthie hasn`t got time to learn with Aj becaue she has to do her homeworks and she has to go to the aerobic with Andrea!But she drives to Aj and when she comes in his room there are Jamil,Wakeen, Ray and Aj!He has forgot that Ruthie comes to learn with him!Then Anthony comes into his room and he asks if Ruthie is his new girlfriend!When all the people are going and they want to learn Aj says Ruthie that he has his book in school!So Ruthie drives home!

Chapter four

In chapter four Erika looks angrily at Ruthie!She wants thst Ruthie stays away from Aj!In this chapter we got to know Ronell!Also in this chapter Erika and her friends get a conflict with the black girls. At the end of the chapter Ruthie goes home and she gets a conflict with her mother because her mom doesn`t like black men although Erika is light-skinned and her father black!

Chapter three

In chapter three we learn that Ruthie was with her mum by a doctor and that she goes on friday to school!She things about her old school and she things about her population on her new school!In this chapter we get to know Andrea and Christian, two friends of Ruthie!On this day at school Ruthie talks with Aj in the chemistry class!

Chapter two

Erika wants to talk with Aj because Imani (a friend of her) has seen Ruthie and Aj together! But Aj declares her what happens with Ruthie in the chemistry class!But Erika and her friends dont` believe him!She wants to keep an eye on Aj!
