Last week when I was in London, I got the invitation for the student`s reunion.
At first I thought I couldn`t go there because of my work.But then I changed my decision and flew to Denver.
When I was in Denver I visited my old hair studio where i worked before I got my new life.
My new life began with a disappointment when my ex-boyfriend broke up with me.I got the job in the hair studio and meets John there.I falls in love with him and went with him to New York.But then he broke up with me too, an other disappointment.
I was alone in Big Appel without money.So i got a job in a theatre and worked behind the stage.One day I got a little roule as a bystander.This was the beginning of my big carriere.Today I am the most famous light-skinned singer in the world.Now I`m living in a penthouse in New York, have a lot of money and lot of men like Brad Pitt.
When I came to the student`s reunion I saw all the old people.Some of them changed in a positive way and some in a negative way like Aj.He became fat!I think because of his broken careere.
Imani told me that Aj broke up with Ruthie when he was a famous football player and he get closer with Kelly.She get the impression that Aj could be the father of her child.A few years later Aj get injured and he couldn`t play football.Kelly brokes up with him and he must pay a lot of money for the child.Now, he lives in the Bronx without much money.
I see Ronell and go to him.
Erika:“ Hi Ronell“
Ronell:“What`s up babe?You can be lucky to be a famous star.“
E:“Sure.What are you doing?“
R:“I have a lot of money too like you.But not legal money.I am the famoust drug dealer on the east coast.“
E:“Does Franko deals with drugs too?“
R:“Sure,he works for me,together with Aj and Anthoney.“
E:“So i go now to the bar!“
On the bar I see Ruthie with Christian and I was interested what happend in the last 10 years.When I ask them,both show me their rings.I was lucky that Ruthie doesn`t stay with Aj any longer because she is better than him.
Ruthie:“I am a Lawyer and Christian a doctor.We live in Denver and we get two kids,Shawn and Marin.“
I thought what a boring life but I said:“How great.I have to go now.I am busy.“
I am glad that I live in New York now because my old life was boring.

I am sorry, but I was unable tp write the comment on Friday ( or the weekend). I was sick, as I a severe indigestion and stomack ache. Therefore I will deliver my homework afterwards because I was simply not able to do it.
I think Ronell's language is realistic and it is also realistic that Erika talks with him.
It is clear that he became a dealer.
But at first I was worried because of Erika's reaction talking with Ruthie. I didn't expect her thinking that Ruthie is better than AJ. I am going to like this idea after thinking of the chapter.
But it is not quite clear to me what happend to Anthony. Why does he became a drug dealer?
In addition to this it is interesting that Erika is happy because of her new life.
That's why I think you had good ideas and you did a good job ;)

I really liked your chapter, it was short and easy to read and the situation has changed a lot, which I like. You had a lot of good ideas which were realistic but also you wouldn't have expected it!
AJ's broken career is realistic, Erika's disappointments before her great career are realistic, the marriage of Ruthie and Christian is realistic, too.
I didn't like the point that we didn't get to know how anthony had become a drug dealer and also rhe fact that kelly thougt AJ coul be the father of her child. But all in all your chapter was exciting to read!

This is Lorri Hewett! I'm glad that you enjoyed my novel, Coming of Age. I wrote the book when I was 18, and I wanted to write about some of the problems that I saw other teenagers have in the world around me. I'm glad to hear that you found it easy to relate to, even in Germany. I like to travel around the world (I've been to Berlin, Heidelburg, Munich, and Cologne in Germany), and it's always nice to see that people have so much more in common than they realize!

Your chapter is short and very good to understand which I appreciate a lot!!!But I think the things changed in a abnormal way,because in my opinion the book didn't end in that way,everybody has changed!That sounds very critical,but it shouldn't.It's just my opinion.On the other hand,I like Ruthie's future because it sounds like HER future because she will have a good live!
